About your Teaching Artist:

Dr. Carolyn Adams-Price has been a professor of psychology at Mississippi State University for 35 years. About 25 years ago, she was inspired by her research on creativity to begin a long-term creative hobby, making wire and bead jewelry, which she has continued to this day. Other inspirations include her interest in rocks and gemstones, and her travels in North America, Europe, and Australia. Sharing her jewelry with potential buyers is a way of sharing her life experiences. Dr. Adams-Price loves exploring the limitless techniques and patterns in jewelry-making provided by wire and beads. She also enjoys teaching others to make jewelry.
